Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart by clicking on the add to basket button. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Discount Vouchers - Are only valid for orders with product values of £5.00 or more. Vouchers and Offer Codes are issued as a promotion or gesture of good will, we reserve the right to withdraw or reject any voucher codes that have not been used in good faith. Only 1 discount, voucher or offer code can be used per order.

All orders are payable in full before despatch

If you prefer not to use a credit card online then select the method requesting a "Call Back" and we can take your details over the phone or you can always send us a cheque just place your order and when you get to the payment page use the "Cheque" Option in the check out stage - Then print your order and send it to us via post and we will process it as soon as we recieve it. Cheques Should be made payable to "Platinum JSD Ltd" If you wish to pay by cheque then funds must be cleared prior to despatch of goods.

We also accept payment via Nochex and Paypal but an additional charge will be added to your order if you use these methods.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we have inadvertently under-priced goods or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

SPECIAL OFFERS - Discount codes can not be used with any products or sets that have already been discounted.

Shipping And Handling
At this time we only deilver to customers in the UK.

Delivery is charged by weight and location.

We shall dispatch you item by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or Carrier. If you have requested a faster delivery method then we shall ensure we do our best to dispatch your order via that method, Next day is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the carrier. We can not be held responsible for any cost incurred for non delivery.

Delivery Schedule
Charges start @ £2.00 and are dependant on weight and location.
Standard Delivery can take 2-7 working Days (Normally 3 or 4 working days)
Carrier 1-2 Working Days (Normally Sent via DHL)
Carrier 3-4 Working Days (Sent via DHL or UPS)

The cut off time for DHL is 9:45 and by UPS is 12:00

Please remember these times are week days and are from dispatch and not from order, some deliveries can be made on a Saturday but you must contact us to arrange special delivery.

Next day delivery is day after the item is despatched not the day ordered and maybe delivered up to 6pm.
If you must have the item by a specific time then please contact us directly and we can arrange a special am delivery to suit you. Please remember this is a custom service and is charged according to the special arrangements you require

If you item has not arrived within 7 days of despatch it is probably at you local royal mail sorting office. Royal mail will not re-deliver unless you ring the number on the card left and ask them to. If an item is returned to us and you failed to collect it then a second delivery charge will need to be taken to cover the cost of re-delivery. If you choose to have a refund then you will not be refunded the delivery charge only the cost of the goods ordered.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If you item is expected to be delayed more than 2 days you will be emailed with and expected delivery date and have the option to cancel your order.
Tax Charges
All orders incur Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15.0%
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are processed using Actinic Payments (CreditCall) & NatWest Streamline unless you choose to pay via Paypal.

We also use "Verified by VISA" and "MASTERCARD SecureCode" this system requires the customer to use there secret login details agreed with their card issuer, if you have not set these up then you can proceed with your order. Credit Card Numbers are not held in clear text on any web site and you can be assured that Actinic Payments (CreditCall) have to comply with the strictest security procedures required by your credit card company. Address verification is made in real time with you card issuer and it validates you address, postcode and security numbers. If you card gets declined this could be because some of the information fails to be verified or you are shipping to an address not authorised by you credit card company

If you are still concerned then you can use our new "Pay Offline" facility, this allows you to place your order and then visit your local post office or payzone to make the payment. Our "no quibble" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or you've had a changed your mind you must return it to us unused and in its original saleable condition within 7 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Goods returned to us must be unused and in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc), otherwise we will not be able to refund you.This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

How do I return an item?

You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Code before sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your return. You should obtain proof of posting (free from the Post Office). Here are some simple and easy to follow guidelines:

Faulty or defective items: If you return an item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Change of mind: Goods returned to us because of a change of mind must be unused and in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc), otherwise we will not be able to refund you. You are responsible for any other service provided to you in connection with your purchase, e.g. delivery charge. Please note that the costs of returning item(s) to us as a result of a change of mind must be borne by you. In any event, the item(s) must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

When first trying out your new item please do so somewhere clean and safe - we can't replace muddy, scratched, torn or damaged products.

Returned Items lost in transit: We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery, and you should take out enough postal insurance to cover the value.

Refunds, replacement and exchanges: Refunds, replacements or exchanges are usually processed within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) by Total Security Products. Any refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.

Please note, in all instances Total Security Products shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.
